About the course

Learning objectives: 

  1. Gaining 3D anatomical knowledge of the groin, anterior and lateral abdominal wall to aid the making of incisions and the closure/repair of the abdominal wall.
  2. Surgical knowledge around the basics of plastic surgery, raising skin flaps, safe excision of excess skin, to improve the cosmesis of abdominal wall surgery.
  3. Training of safe surgical techniques in AWR.

Price and registration

The 2-day course costs €600 (excluding VAT) for EHS members and €800 (excluding VAT) for non-members of the EHS. 

The registration fee includes:

  • Admission to the full course programme
  • Coffee breaks and lunch
  • Dinner on June 19, 2023

Hotel accommodation will be available for delegates at the rate of 90 EUR per night.
