On behalf of our corporate partner, Intuitive Surgical, we are pleased to announce the open applications for the upcoming Intuitive Discovery Robotic Hands-On Training Course, with the possible dates/locations (as above).
The course is specifically designed for surgeons who are not yet using robotic-assisted surgery but are interested in learning more about its potential in clinical practice. The program combines presentations from experienced robotic surgeons, who will share their personal adoption journey and key success factors for establishing a robotic program, with extensive hands-on training in the lab. Participants will have the opportunity to work with simple models in a practical setting, gaining first-hand experience and a better understanding of the value that robotic-assisted surgery can bring to their practice.
The course is limited to 12-15 participants per course (27 in total), and there has been significant interest in previous editions. We therefore encourage interested participants to apply without delay. Applications are being accepted until 12 August 2026 for the 2 October course and until 4 September 2026 for the 27 October course, as long as places remain available. Please note that this exclusive opportunity is available only to EHS members.

Costs: Intuitive will cover all event-related costs, including participant travel and accommodation, as well as all expenses associated with the hands-on training.
