Applications should provide:
- Application letter describing the importance of the research proposal.
- Detailed study description (max 2000 words).
- Registration in a trial register before start of the study (ClinicalTrials.gov or similar) where applicable.
- Short curriculum vitae of the principal investigator who MUSTÂ be a member of the EHS.
- Description of the study team including their membership of the EHS.
- Detailed description of what the 5000 € will be spent on in the conduct of the study.

The grant will be transferred in 3 installments when milestones have been reached:
- 40% at the start of the study.
30% after last patient inclusion or end of experiments in animal/ in vitro study.
30% at submission of manuscript.
