Are you an EHS Member and do you like photography? Don’t miss the opportunity to have one of your photos on the cover of the 2024 Annual Report of the EHS. Contribute with a photo, related to your daily practice in the hospital, under the theme ‘One Day in Surgery’.
The winner, besides seeing its photo included in the Annual Report, will have a free registration to the 2025 Annual Congress in Paris and will be awarded with a diploma during the congress.

Deadline for applications: 14th of April 2025 (you must have a valid EHS membership)
You are welcome to enter the contest by submitting your original, unpublished photographs. THe photo must not have been submitted for any other contest. Please note that each participant may submit a maximum of two photos. To ensure fairness and maintain the authenticity of the images, the following key points apply:
- Open only for EHS members with a valid EHS membership
- Theme: “One Day in Surgery” – showcasing daily surgical practice.
- Photographs must be original, not previously published, and not submitted in other contests. Minor adjustments to colour and brightness are allowed, but the original composition must remain intact.
- Technical specifications:
- Format: JPEG or PNG
- Maximum resolution: 1024×1024 pixels (for digital cameras) or the device’s maximum resolution (for smartphones).
- Maximum file size: 3 MB.
- Image Rights: By entering, you give EHS permission to use the photograph across digital, print, web, and social media platforms, while you retain full intellectual property rights and will be credited.
