The European Hernia Society is a medical association uniting professionals, industry and patients interested in the repair of abdominal wall defects (called hernias) and other problems related to the abdominal wall.

Our primary aim is to improve patient care in relation to the diagnosis and treatment of abdominal wall disease. We do this by promoting education, facilitating the provision of the most uptodate evidence and information on the latest research, technologies, materials and techniques available.
