The European Hernia Society (EHS) offers two types of endorsement: one for congresses and symposia, and another for educational activities such as training courses that support education in abdominal wall surgery.
We invite you to use the application form most appropriate to the event you are organising by clicking the relevant button on the right of this webpage. This will take you to an evaluation form which you must complete for endorsement.
Application processing time
EHS strives to provide applicants with a response within four weeks of submission. To ensure timely processing, we therefore recommend submitting your application at least two months prior to the planned start of your course or programme.
Congress endorsements are valid only for the specific event for which they are granted.
Educational endorsements: the following applies:

| Director/President is an EHS member and organiser offers reduced registration fees for EHS members (first 25 members at 50% discount; remaining members at 20% discount) | No fee |

EHS Affiliated and Associated Societies
If the event is organised by an EHS Affiliated or Associated Society, the same application process applies. The EHS will not charge the society a fee; however, the course applicant must be an EHS member.
