I hope to both infuse the EHS with some of my ideas and perspectives while playing my role in improving patient care for people with a hernia

3. Where do you get your motivation and inspiration in life?

Not sure i have decoded that part yet. Some times i feel motivated, some times inspired, other times both or none…

4. What are the biggest challenges in the abdominal wall surgery right now?

The biggest challenge for me is to ensure that the popularity of abdominal wall surgery in recent years goes hand in hand with high quality education and responsibility towards our patients. We have come to understand a lot more about the biomechanics of the abdominal wall but there is still much to discover.

5. What is your hidden talent?

I wouldn’t necessarily call it a talent, but I like to understand how things work at a very basic level.
