EHS/RCSEd Non-Techincal Skills for Surgeons (NOTSS)
EHS is proud to announce a partnership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and offer NOTSSÂ as a pre-congress course at Prague 2024, on 28 May. This one day course is for trained surgeons and higher surgical trainees who already have some knowledge of the role of Human Factors in surgical performance. The non-technical skills which underpin safer operative surgery will be examined in detail with short talks, video simulated scenarios and small group discussions. At the end of the course participants will be able to understand the theories and research relating to adverse events in surgery.Â
You will be able to use the NOTSS system to observe, rate and reflect on your own practice and provide feedback on behaviour in the operating theatre.
