The EHS Annual Congress focused not only on science but also on strengthening the friendship ties, to achieve that, the EHS Team developed various activities aimed at bringing all Hernia Friends closer. Let’s take a closer look at them!
The EHS Happy Hour Bar served over 500 Hernia-related cocktails. Like true experts, we offered both Mesh and No Mesh solutions for everyone. Some experts in Shouldice repairs were spotted choosing the Lichtenstein cocktail.
Next to it, stood the big Hernia World Map. It was filled with yellow EHS pins that showcased how far people traveled to attend the EHS 2024 Prague Congress – and everyone got a picture in front of it! Speaking of pictures, our EHS Photo Magazine put everyone on the front cover of EHS Times. Next time we need a bigger one to fit in all the groups of HerniaFriends that wanted to have their picture taken.
Last but not least, a great mystery had to be solved! Sir Hernia Holmes was on the case of the missing manuscripts. Amateur detectives roamed the exhibition hall, interviewing the industry and gathering clues. The first 50 people that solved the mystery won an EHS T-Shirt and one lucky Detective won an EHS Travel Grant!
