European Hernia Society guidelines on management of rectus diastasis

Introduction

These guidelines provide an expert consensus (due to limited quality of available studies/literature) about the definition, the quantification and diagnosis, the classification, the main clinical features, and a systematic review of non-surgical and surgical treatment methods to support research and cure for patients with this pathology. 

The guidelines were published by the European Hernia Society in 2021.
